Meet Our 2010 Directors

Mr. Mike - Director

Mr. Mike is entering his fourth year as Director, and his seventh year overall at Forcey Day Camp. He graduated from Grove City College with a degree in Business Management and will graduate from Capital Bible Seminary this coming December with a Master of Divinity. In addition to camp and school, Mr. Mike works with the youth group at Forcey Memorial Church, and substitute teaches at Forcey Christian School. What he enjoys most about being Director is working with the staff and getting to shape the "big picture" of the ministry.
His hobbies include following the Redskins and Orioles (no matter how bad each team is), dominating Mr. Joe in basketball (sometimes), and cross country running.

Miss Kelly - Assistant Director (Rangers)

Miss Kelly is returning for her fourth year at Forcey Day Camp in 2010 and her third as an Assistant Director. Once again this year, she will be working with the Rangers (campers entering 1st and 2nd grade). Last May, Miss Kelly graduated from Taylor University with a degree and certificate in Elementary Education. Around camp, Miss Kelly is known as one of the most organized people on the planet, keeping all the counselors (as well as the directors) neat and organized!! We are so happy to have her back for another summer.
In her spare time, Miss Kelly serves with the Challengers (7-12th grade girls) program at Forcey Memorial Church. She enjoys spending time with her newly born niece.

Mr. Greg - Assistant Director (Pioneers)

Mr. Greg is returning as the Assistant Director for the Pioneers (campers entering 3rd and 4th grade). No one knows more about Pioneers than Mr. Greg since he has worked with Pioneers at Forcey Day Camp for five years. Our previous campers will remember our many hilarious and crazy skits from years past. Well, Mr. Greg is the mastermind of our skits, and we are super excited to have him as an Assistant Director again. He also wants to be a teacher like Miss Kelly and Mr. Joe, and is attending the University of Maryland (Go Terps!) with the plans of someday being a history teacher.
Mr. Greg is very multi-talented. In addition to his acting skills, he plays the french horn in the Forcey Memorial Church orchestra.

Mr. Joe - Assistant Director (Explorers)

Mr. Joe can't get enough of Forcey Day Camp, which is why he's stayed around since 2005! Once again this year, he is the Assistant Director working with the Explorers (campers entering 5th-7th grade), an age group Mr. Joe really enjoys. Few remember that when he first came to camp, Mr. Joe was actually one of our top Ranger counselors. Mr. Joe is in his third years as a mathematics teacher at Laurel High School. He graduated from Grove City College with a degree in Math with Mr. Mike.
In his free time, Mr. Joe is known for managing his many fantasy sports teams, lifts weights so that he can keep being the strongest man at camp, and plays basketball and softball. He also serves parents by watching their toddlers during second service at Forcey Memorial Church.
